"Hi Mike, I'd be interested in buying a pack of 10 of your books if they are still in print. I doubt you'd remember me but I took lessons from you probably 15 years ago. Long story short I ended up with the opportunity to go to Musician's Institute for a short time after graduating college and now I'm teaching at a local store where I live called Arkansas Music Works. Your book covers and explains the material better than even the MI materials and I want to share it with my students. "This is what I was looking for! Finally a real instruction course book with superlative theory information that is comprehensive and easy to understand. I've been "playing at" guitar off and on for about 30 years (and quit a few times and started back). I've had so called lessons that got me nowhere. Sure I can play some impressive stuff but I never got past memorizing songs from tabs. I've never been able to really figure out a solo or know the theory behind what I was playing. I ordered Michael's book a few weeks ago and in that short time I've found myself actually noodling around to backing tracks and it sounds like legitimate music.
